停靠時間是指巴士在站牌附近停下不動的時間長度，並附有範圍。

我們如何計算

• A bus is stopped while each position stays close to where it began and no two positions are too far apart in time.
• 停靠時間是該次行駛中，從第一個位置到最後一個位置的時間。這是最短時間。最長時間則再加上前後兩側位置之間的間隔。
• The place is named after a stop only when it is close to that stop. Otherwise it says the bus stood somewhere that is not a stop.
• Short stops are not reported.

無法說明的內容

• Positions arrive only every so often, so a short stop for doors is not seen.
• 我們無法分辨，一輛巴士是在等候乘客，還是被站旁的號誌燈擋住，或是司機在路線終點的預定休息。
• 如果巴士停止回報,該趟行程就在那裡結束。我們不會說它已經離開。

哪些用詞可以放心使用

• Illustrative example, with round numbers: "A bus stopped at least 10 minutes near a named stop" is measured.
• 我們不會說明它為什麼停下來。
