Rota 620: St-Laurent

Estimated: this is worked out from final predictions, not from seeing each bus.

O que isso mede

Como calculamos

1. We pair buses on the same route and direction that arrive one after the other at the same stop.
2. We judge a pair only when the timetable planned a gap between them, as the method page defines it.
3. A pair counts as bunched as the method page defines it.
4. The share is the bunched pairs over the judged pairs, for the latest completed service days. A route with too few judged pairs shows no share.

Worked example

Qual é o nosso grau de certeza

This is an estimate: it rests on predictions, not on independently measured arrivals. It is not a count of late buses.

Limits, and what would change it

• A high share means buses come together and leave a long wait behind, not that they are late.
• Only completed days count.
• A pair the timetable did not plan a gap for is not judged.
