Citizen tool inside Insights

Design the network

Work on the complete OC Transpo and STO map. Add, change or remove lines in your own plan, then compare scheduled trips, service hours and affected stops.

This workbench produces an inspectable citizen proposal, not a change to the official network. The calculation compares schedules and your assumptions; it does not yet simulate transfers, congestion or individual household journeys.

Up to 10 changes per plan. All unedited routes stay as scheduled. The date is locked once you add a change; remove your changes to choose another date.

Design on the whole network

Every published OC Transpo and STO line stays on the map. Click a line, then use the tools on the map to change it, remove it or draw a new route.

The published paths come from the dated operator timetables. Solid purple segments follow the production street-routing graph. A dashed segment means the street path could not be confirmed yet, so it remains visibly unverified. Safe turns, bus restrictions, accessibility, transfers and operating times still need review.

Your proposed network changes

Choose a route above, or start a new one. This does not change real transit service.

Evidence to guide the decisions

Preserve access on community services and express pickup points. Routes 222 and 303 have reported waiting contexts to verify, not proven causes. O-Train has no public live positions; no private Para Transpo trips are used.
