A citizen-owned service
Otranspo is owned and operated by one independent citizen in Ottawa–Gatineau, named in the register below. That person is accountable for the product, operations, privacy and security decisions, corrections, and public explanations.
The owner has final editorial control. Transit agencies, cities, data and technology providers, donors, and subjects of Otranspo research do not choose what is investigated, measured, corrected, or published.
The owner currently bears the operating costs. Otranspo carries no advertising. A voluntary donation, when that capability is available, provides no special access and no influence over evidence or editorial decisions.
