Imported transit stops in the region
- Version
- city-current-inventory-v1
- ID
- city-inventory:stop-count
Definition
- Definition
- The number of stop records in the currently imported regional GTFS schedule.
- Formula
- COUNT of all current imported GTFS stop records.
- Units
- stop records
- Population
- All stop records in the current imported OC Transpo and STO static GTFS files.
- Measurement window
- Current imported schedule snapshot; this is not a time-period total.
- Coverage
- Coverage is the two imported operator schedule files. Nearby platforms and parent stations remain separate records when the source publishes them separately.
- Publication eligibility
- Every valid imported stop record is counted once. Missing or rejected source rows do not become zero-valued stops.
- Scope
- Current OC Transpo and STO schedule inventory shown on the city report.
- What this number can support
- Inventory size only; it does not measure active service, distinct public places, accessibility, or service quality.
Implementation status
- Source candidate
- Implemented in this source candidate.
- Public production
- This metric version has not been independently verified in the public production deployment.

Exclusions
- This count does not deduplicate nearby platforms or claim that every stop is currently in service.
Uncertainty and interpretation
- This is a current imported-data count. It can change after a source import and does not estimate unrecorded assets.
