Definition: The number of route records in the currently imported regional GTFS schedule.
Formula: COUNT of all current imported GTFS route records.
Units: route records
Population: All route records in the current imported OC Transpo and STO static GTFS files.
Measurement window: Current imported schedule snapshot; this is not a count of trips in a period.
Coverage: Coverage is the two imported operator schedule files, with operator-specific route identifiers preserved.
Publication eligibility: Every valid imported route record is counted once. Variants remain separate when their source identifiers differ.
Scope: Current OC Transpo and STO schedule inventory shown on the city report.
What this number can support: Inventory size only; it does not measure frequency, operated trips, passenger capacity, or regional route equivalence.
