Three outcomes are kept apart. “Cancelled” means the operator said the trip would not run. “Did not come” means we saw no bus and no notice. “We did not see this bus. It may have come.” means our feed was too thin to tell. Rider reports are counted separately and are never mixed into these three.

One independent citizen in Ottawa–Gatineau owns and runs the site, and has the final say over what it publishes. No transit agency, city, donor or provider chooses what is measured or published. The independence page names who that is.

The person who runs the site pays the running costs. Riders can donate. A donation buys no access and no say over what is published. There is no advertising, and rider data is not sold. The running costs are published.
