What donations do, and what they do not

Otranspo does not show advertising, sell rider data, charge for core rider journeys, or place fundraising prompts inside departures, trip planning, alerts, maps, accessibility, or active-trip flows.

Donations help cover hosting, data monitoring, accessibility, and reviewed translation. They do not buy influence over evidence, scores, investigations, or editorial decisions.

The donation page shows the amount limits, privacy choices, and refund or dispute path before checkout.

When the live funding panel says checkout is available, one-time and monthly support is accepted in Canadian dollars through a Stripe-hosted checkout. A closed or local-simulation state sends nothing to Stripe.
During live checkout, card and bank details are entered only on Stripe and are never stored by Otranspo.
