  3. The month side by side

For one month, two on-time numbers sit side by side.

Observed on time and countdown accuracy, together, for one month. After that, observed on time becomes the headline and countdown accuracy stays as a labelled second figure.

How it is kept honest

Each day we store both as counts, for the network and for every route, so the comparison is exact and no day can be quietly restated.

What the comparison page lists

  • The day-by-day gap between the two.
  • How many trips were cancelled and how many did not come, which the old number never saw.
  • How many stops could not be judged.
  • The routes where the two differ most (with enough stops each).

Where it stands

The month side by side has not started. The owner picks the dates. Until then the comparison page says so.

Where the numbers come from

  • Our daily counts of both measures

Method version and change log

A published month never changes. If a method is revised, past months keep the method they were worked out with.

  • Version 1 · October 25, 2026. First published. Not started yet: the owner picks the dates.
